“Recruit continuously. Always scouting for talent, even when you don’t have an open position. That way, if there is a need, you’ll know exactly who to call. Never settle. When there is an opening in the agency, hold out for the very best talent. Look for people who have potential for growth, and give more weight to potential than to experience. Invest in people’s development. Give people opportunities to take leadership roles within the business, and spend time mentoring those people who have the greatest potential as leaders.”
