Talent Plus Glossary

T

Talent: Talent is a recurring pattern of thoughts, feelings and behaviors that is consistent over time. Talent is a natural ability not acquired through effort, education or experience.

The Talent Card®: The Talent Card is a meaningful step in an individual's development and is automatically generated for individuals who complete a Talent Online ® Assessment (TOA ®) in TalentBank®. Each Talent Card highlights an individual's three strongest talents for a given role and provides a pathway to help them understand their potential and assist in leveraging these strengths.

Talent CategoriesSM: Also known as Interpretive Analysis Groupings, Talent Categories are groupings of themes. While themes across interviews and assessments may be different, Talent Categories are generally the same.

Talent Grid: A Talent Grid highlights the top strengths of the members of a team who have completed the same Talent Online® Assessment (TOA).

Talent Intensity Index® (TII): The Talent Intensity Index, or a Talent Graph, is a visual depiction of the potential an individual has to be successful in a role. The graph is fully interactive, revealing analysis and development strategies.

Talent Online® Assessment (TOA®): A Talent Online® Assessment (TOA ®) helps an organization select for job performance, knowledge, skills and experience as well as natural abilities and personal qualities.

Talent Planning: Talent Planning is evaluating the big picture of talent in an organization or team. It involves the planning processes of both anticipating the various staffing needs organizations will have in the future, as well as identifying developing talent and high-performing employees to fill those staffing needs when they arise.

Talent Themes: Talent Themes describe what we do, think and feel, and how we behave and react to different situations. They are the components of talent and help us describe them.

Talent-Based Organization®: A Talent-Based Organization leverages the natural talents of people to make the greatest individual and organizational impact.

Talent+Hire: Talent Plus' applicant tracking system (ATS), that allows organizations to source the best front-line candidates, direct applicant traffic flow and ensure candidates align with the company’s mission, vision and values.

Talent+ReadySM: Talent+Ready valuates for both talent and readiness so organizations can identify their future mid-level leaders and know when they're ready to lead.

TalentBank®: The TalentBank platform gives managers and employees real-time visibility and resources to select and develop the natural talent of their teams.

TalentMine®: TalentMine is a “fitness tracker” for employee growth and development, created to identify and develop strengths, and then collaborate to achieve goals.

Team Day: A Talent Plus Team Day aligns individual's talents, knowledge and skills to a team's unique goals.

TeamViewSM: TeamView is a team-wide survey followed by a facilitated discussion that helps leaders understand the dynamics of their team and identify opportunities for action.

The Science of Talent®: The Science of Talent is a rigorous process of identifying and predicting candidates with the potential for near perfect performance.
