Today’s Talent Spotlight features Sherry Schultz, Talent Plus Accounting Manager. Sherry joined Talent Plus in July and oversees the production of financial reports and ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles. Sherry brings 20+ years of experience in various accounting management, financial reporting and internal and external auditing procedures to the Finance Team and we are excited to see how she continues to maximize her natural talents in her role.
Let’s learn more about Sherry and her passions and interests outside her role at Talent Plus.
Q: What do you enjoy most about your position at Talent Plus?
A: Everyone that works at Talent Plus is so incredibly talented. It is amazing to watch people do what they do best every single day.
Q: What do you love most about the work you do in your role?
A: I am working hard each day to improve the accounting process. There is such a thirst for more and improved data at Talent Plus and I have the opportunity to work towards providing that data.
Q: What is a quote you live by?
A: “The Sun Will Come Up Tomorrow.”
Q: If you could choose to do anything for a day, what would it be?
A: Hang out with my dogs, ride 4-wheelers and take a nap.
Q: What three items would you take with you on a deserted island?
A: Insect repellent because I’m allergic to bug bites, a first aid kit because I’m accident prone and matches because I don’t know how to start a fire without them.
Q: If you could compete in the Olympics in any sport, what would it be?
A: Downhill Skiing. I love downhill skiing and one of my first memories is skiing when I was 2 years old.
Q: If you could join any past or current music group, which would you want to join?
A: Queen – Freddie Mercury was a musical genius and it would have been cool to watch him work.
Q: What’s your go-to song or playlist right now?
A: “The Other Side” from The Greatest Showman.
Q: If you had to describe yourself as an animal, which one would it be?
A: A Panda. They are playful and fun to watch but they also like to have quiet time by themselves to eat and think.

Q: If you could go back in time, what year would you travel to?
A: 1969 to watch Apollo 11 land on the moon
