Dr. Cal Garbin has been nominated for Outstanding Educator of the Year Award three times and awarded Outstanding Educator of the Year in 2001 by the students at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL). Cal is not only a gifted teacher and researcher, but he’s also a highly successful martial arts competitor. His life experience puts him in a unique position to share his insights on mentoring in the diverse worlds of academia, business and martial arts. We are pleased to have him as our first guest.
